On Friday November 13th I will be attending the ALSTDI Leadership Forum and I could not be more excited. The forum is free and open to the public. It will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to know what is going on in the world of ALS research. That evening there also will be a screening of the incredible documentary by Patrick O'Brien TransFatty Lives. If you would like to go please sign up at ALS.NET. Hope to see you there!!
Finally feeling a bit better! YEBBADEBBADOO!
After almost a month since my first feeding tube was put in I am feeling better. I was able to enjoy a great Halloween in with my beautiful wife Casey and many of our good friends.
G-Tube Success
I had my feeding tube replaced yesterday in a new location. Despite the fact that I now have two holes in me I feel significantly better than I have for the past 3 weeks. Thank you everyone for your well wishes!!! I will be leaving the ICU this afternoon and heading home.
G-Tube take two......
Hey guys,
Unfortunately the doctors messed up my g-tube placement two weeks ago. The tube has been rubbing up against my ribs and I have been in an excruciating amount of pain. On Monday I will be going back in to MGH to get this tube removed and a new feeding tube put in in a new location. Thank you all for your support and a big thanks to those who have been doing recurring monthly donations. This is incredibly helpful as medical bills aren't cheap.
Ain't nothing but a g-tube baby!
On last Tuesday, October 6th I had a feeding tube put in at Mass General hospital.
It was extremely painful for the first week, but I am starting to feel some relief now. It is healing well and I am hoping to become more active again in the next week or so. Thank you everyone for your well wishes and support.
For everyone who has donated so far, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whatever you can contribute to help out my supplemental needs trust is greatly appreciated.
Beverley ER - Ice Bucket Challenge 2015
